This feature saves you time. Now you don’t have to go to NADRA office wherever you are. You can get all the information with just one SMS.

For any Pakistani CNIC details you have to type ” CNIC number” message on your mobile and send this SMS to “7000”. And in reply you will be sent full details of this CNIC by NADRA. Twelve rupees of this SMS will be deducted from your Mobile account.

In addition to simplifying the CNIC verification process, NADRA has also focused on the privacy of individuals. Therefore, to ensure that the privacy of any individual is not compromised, NADRA discloses only limited details which are the name of the CNIC holder and the name of the father.

In this service, people can verify about any person who is definitely very helpful in identifying the fake identity cards used by people to do some counterfeiting.

This service is not only for the general public but also for law enforcement agencies. To verify CNIC’s status, law enforcement will send an SMS to “7001” and all relevant details will be sent to them in response. Therefore, this service is not only useful for individuals but will also play an important role in improving national security.
